Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with at least 4 years of payroll and HR experience, including experience in a relevant country. Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR is required, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Payroll Expert will evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, ensuring accurate and timely execution of payroll in their region, preparing and reconciling internal payroll reports, owning critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up involuntary deductions and supporting onboarding/offboarding. They will also assess and improve rapid growth processes, stay informed of regulatory changes, work cross-functionally to provide expertise, and answer complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients.
